Michelle Lynn Monaghan Bio

Michelle Lynn Monaghan, born March 23, 1976 was an American actress. Her roles as a star include Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005) and Gone Baby Gone (2008). She also appeared in for Gone Baby Gone (2008), Made of Honor (2008) and Trucker (2008). Source Code (2011), Pixels (2015) and Patriots Day (2016). Her role as a lead in Mission: Impossible III (2006), Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol (2011) and Mission: Impossible Fallout (2018) has earned her respect. Monaghan was also nominated for the Golden Globe Award as Best Supporting Actress. In the drama series The Path (2016), she starred in the role of Sarah Lane. Monaghan was also a part of Eva Geller in the 2020 Netflix thriller series Messiah which was cancelled after one season. Monaghan was born in the tiny town (then there was a population of around 750) of Winthrop, Iowa, the daughter of Sharon Hammel, and Robert Monaghan who worked in a factory. Bob and John are her two older brothers. Monaghan is an Catholic with Irish and German origin and graduated from East Buchanan High School, 1994. She relocated to Chicago after graduation to study journalism at Columbia College Chicago. Then she started modeling. Modeled in Milan, Singapore, Tokyo and Hong Kong, as well as in the United States. There was only one semester left to finish her journalism degree in 1999, she moved to New York to pursue an acting career. Her first job was as model. The first two TV appearances, both in a supporting role and as Caroline Busse in episodes of Young Americans, which aired in 2000. In "Consent" Monaghan was the role as Caroline Busse. She also appeared on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit during the same episode. On the 19th of January 2001, she was a part of the cast in "Consent". That same year, her big-screen debut was with Perfume as Henrietta. In 2002, she appeared again in a supporting role in Unfaithful with Richard Gere & Diane Lane.
