Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz, (pronounced NOH-vitch) is an Canadian actress from Canada. She is most well-known for her appearances on ABC Family's Kyle XY as Andy Jensen and Syfy's Caprica science fiction drama series as Lacy Rand. Emily Hartwell, a science fiction actress, was born Maya Hartwell. She also appeared in the Netflix thriller series You as Sandy. Apanowicz she is a Polish-American was in the ninth grade in Poland. She lived with her aunt in Poland, and attended Jelenia Gola School. She later attended Vancouver Film School. When her brother introduced her to the Pulp Fiction, she became fascinated by acting. In 2002, she made her first acting appearances on the TV series Jeremiah. She also made a brief appearance in John Doe's TV series. From 2007 until 2009, she played the Kyle XY role of Andy Jensen. In 2008, she was a guest star as Andy Jensen in Every Second Counts on the Hallmark Channel. In 2009, Apanowicz was cast to be the character Lacy Rand in Caprica's telecast drama with Eric Stoltz & Alessandra Turresani. The actress later appeared on Hellcats. In 2012, she guest-starred in Jane Espenson's second season of her web series of romantic comedy, Husbands.In 2013, Apanowicz appeared as Emily in the show Continuum She also appeared in the Eli Roth horror film The Green Inferno as Samantha. The Green Inferno was originally made in 2012. It was released globally in the year 2015. Apanowicz was cast in Volition as Angela. The film premiered in 2020.In 2019, Apanowicz was cast in the recurring role of Sandy in the second season of the Netflix thriller You.
